Rick Steiner Joins Buchanan as Chief Marketing Officer to Lead Business Development and Strategic Growth Initiatives

Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC has appointed Rick Steiner as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In this role, Rick will lead the firm’s business development and marketing team to design and execute strategic initiatives that support practice growth, enhance client engagement, and elevate brand strategies.

Rick brings over two decades of experience in marketing and business development within the legal and financial services sectors. His career has been defined by his ability to build and lead high-performing teams, crafting integrated marketing strategies that generate revenue and foster client loyalty across diverse segments.

Prior to joining Buchanan, Rick served as the Chief Marketing Officer at one of the nation’s top 50 bank holding companies, where he led a team of specialists in evolving the bank’s marketing strategies with data-driven and digital approaches. His leadership played a pivotal role in client acquisition and retention.

Rick also served as Director of Business Development at a global Am Law 100 law firm headquartered in Pittsburgh, where he successfully spearheaded initiatives to grow brand visibility and strengthen client relationships across industry verticals. Earlier in his career, he spent over 11 years at a leading national bank in various marketing roles, gaining deep expertise in B2B and B2C strategies.

Rick’s ability to leverage data, innovation, and insights has helped organizations build compelling value propositions and deliver strong brand identities. At Buchanan, he will focus on advancing the firm’s long-term growth strategy and creating enhanced client experiences.
